  12. On the subject of my antipathy to Rachmaninoff in general, Rob Holzel 
  13. writes "even the Symphonyic Dances." Yup, Rob--even the Symphonic Dances. 
  14. I will say though that I harbour some respect for the Etudes 
  15. Tableaux--great pieces. Most of the rest leaves me pretty cold. For my 
  16. tastes too sloppy, repetitive and redundant.
