  12. Since I have no idea about how to put parts of older messages into my post, I
  13. can't put anything from the "Mentioning God..." in here.  Sorry.
  14.   Anyway, I beleive the question was as to why Amy G. did not release 'Ask Me'
  15. or other similar songs to mainstream radio.  The answer is related to the
  16. agreements between Word records and A&M.  Word has responsibility for promoting 
  17. Amy to the Christian market, and A&M has a similar job for mainstream.  In
  18. other words,  Word DID release 'Ask Me' to Christian radio where, like most Amy
  19. songs, it was quite succesful.  A&M decided that Amy's more pop-style music
  20. would be more popular and have therefore not released this song (yet).  A&M may
  21. still release 'Ask Me' to mainstream radio... then again maybe not.  Amy really
  22. has no control of how the various company's market her product.  
  23.   I've been able to see Amy in concert several times and she always makes it
  24. quite clear that she is a Christian.  Also, I've yet to hear ANY secular DJ
  25. refer to Amy as anything but "Popular Gospel Artist Amy Grant...".  So any
  26. debate as to whether she has sold out or not is just plain dumb. 
  27. Non-Christians are not stupid, they know perfectly well who Amy Grant is. 
  28.   Even though I have not followed MWS as close as I have Amy (Hey, Amy Grant is 
  29. MUCH cuter ;-) , I suspect that he is in much the same situation.
  30.   Christian artists need our support and prayers my friends -- not second
  31. guessing.  Shalom.
