- And what's really funny is watching the riders who want to impress their
- friends: come out of the chicane at Sears Point, grab a handfull of
- throttle,
- yank up on the bars and pull a pathetic little wheelie just to have a real
- rider pass them at warp speed with the front wheel on the ground. I
- remember
- one race where a novice pulled a massive wheelie coming out of the chicane.
- He was black flagged on the next lap for endangering others. When he walked
- to the start-finish to protest the black flag he was booed by all except
- his friends.
