  30.   And what's really funny is watching the riders who want to impress their
  31. friends: come out of the chicane at Sears Point, grab a handfull of
  32. throttle,
  33. yank up on the bars and pull a pathetic little wheelie just to have a real
  34. rider pass them at warp speed with the front wheel on the ground. I
  35. remember
  36. one race where a novice pulled a massive wheelie coming out of the chicane.
  37. He was black flagged on the next lap for endangering others. When he walked
  38. to the start-finish to protest the black flag he was booed by all except
  39. his friends.
