- Here's what I did to my old '87:

- - Boyesen reed valve. ~$20 - You'll be amazed at what $20 to Boyesen will
- do for ya!!
- - Progressive fork springs. ~$50 - You'll be amazed at how you can save your
- plush front from bottoming and throwing you over the bars...and still
- staying plush. :)
- - Krause Kannon Pipe ~$150ish. Nice pipes - I got the "MidRange" pipe.
- It was like taking a rev-limiter off the thing.
- - Answer S/A Pro. ~$90. Quiet, nice tone, sparky.
- - Bold a strap across the back of the seat from the fender mount bolts,
- so when you get stuck, you can drag the carcass out of the muck.
- - Skid plate.
