  28. chambers you'd instantly realize the superiority of my reasoning
  29. and crawl under a rock like a wounded beast with nothing but an
  30. MT50 to keep you company.  But since you're still here, I'll give
  31. you the rec.moto argument to end all arguments:  My ZX-17 is faster
  32. than ALL of your bikes put together!  So I'm right! Phhhbbbbt!!

  43. I didn't say that there wasn't much wind noise, just that I can
  44. hear a bit better at speed with a helmet on than without it.
  45. It's still pretty damn loud.  It's even worse bareheadded, IMHO.

  53. I didn't realize how much of the traffic I did hear until I rode
  54. with earplugs.  The silence is eerie, and I had a couple cars
  55. sneak up on me before I realized that I wasn't hearing them
  56. as well as usual and that I'd been using my hearing to keep track
  57. of other traffic.  Once I figured that out I've been remembering to
  58. pay more visual attention to the traffic around me.
