- First versions of the V-Max had 145 hp (measured in the crankshat), but the
- latest ones seem to lack the "power boost" feature (it is a mechanism that
- communicates two carbs above 6000 rpm and increases engine power), they seem
- to have 120-125 hp. However, it is possible to install this feature. Of course
- there are limitted versions (100 hp) in some European countries.
-
- At this moment the most powerful bike is the Bimota Furano, with an EXUP
- prepared engine which gives 164 hp, but for most people it is the Kawasaki
- ZX-11 with 152 hp measured at the clutch (as Motociclismo magazine says).
