  14. OK tire gurus -- I want some factoids and opinions.  I have a beemer
  15. GS and it's ready for a new rear tire.  Currently, I have Pirelli
  16. dual-purpose tires on, MT 50's or 60's (I forget).  Winter is coming
  17. to No Cal which means rain, and since I'll be commuting in the Santa
  18. Cruz mountains, it means wet roads with lots of redwood droppings
  19. making things slippery.

  21. Which tire is best for wet slippery paved roads?  I'm thinking of
  22. putting Chen Sins on.  (NO, just kidding!)  I'm thinking of putting a
  23. Metzler ME 88 on the rear and leaving the Pirelli dp tire on the
  24. front.  Should I also put a street tire on the front -- maybe a
  25. Metzler ME 33?  Or do you think a dp tire on the rear would give me
  26. better traction on wet pavement?
