  25.   I remember years ago blasting down the autobahn near Frankfurt. I
  26. beleive it was close to rush hour and traffic was moving at about
  27. 120-130 km/h with about 5-10 feet between cars. I heard a sound similar
  28. to a train taking up slack inbetween boxcars and in a flash saw a blur
  29. of brakelights and cars bobbing up in the lane to the left of me. For
  30. the next few minutes I passed cars who were slowing down in the left
  31. lane and all of them showed some minor damage to their bumpers. I guess
  32. the interval between cars was so small that no significant impacts were
  33. generated.
