- You should have seen the looks on people's faces when I put my race bike
- in the elevator of the grad student dorm at UNC Chapel Hill to take it
- up to my room. The bike only stayed in the room one night (til I took it to a
- friend's shop where I had rented space) but I kept a supply of spares etc.
- under the bed. Somehow I managed to keep a double room to myself most of the
- year. Each time they moved in someone new as a roommate, she either decided
- she really wanted a single, or that there was someone else she wanted to room
- with instead. :)
