- A few of my friends have died in car crashes. And I've seen a few
- strangers die in crashes I've stopped to attend, the last two a couple
- of months ago in a high speed head-on crash due to overtaking on a
- blind bend (i.e., not having finished overtaking by the time the bend
- came up, deciding to carry on rather than pull back). Screech wallop
- scrape tinkle bleed moan die. Nasty.

- I did and I have. I only ride motorcycles and bicycles. Cars are too
- dangerous. They tend to kill other people, whereas motorcycles tend to
- kill only their riders. The morality of motorcycling is impeccable: if
- you make a mistake it is most likely you who will suffer for it. And
- not having the resources to avoid the idiot who suddenly turns into
- your path without warning counts as a possibly fatal mistake.
