  16. I have a better one.  A car is stopped, left turn signal on, on a four lane
  17. (two each way) city street in the left lane, waiting for oncoming traffic to 
  18. clear.  The cross road is after a bridge over a set of railroad tracks, so 
  19. the road had about a 15% down grade.  As I passed the car, I thought to myself
  20. "Gee, wouldn't it be a bitch if the towtruck in the lane behind that stopped
  21. car didn't see it..." CRUNCH  Tow truck rear ends car at 30 mph.  The lucky
  22. part of the accident was that there wasn't any oncoming traffic when the car
  23. was pushed forward and left, because she had turned her front wheels prior 
  24. to stopping the car.
