- How are your gearbox seals? and the seal around the transmission boot?
- Maybe pull it off and check for holes.

- Check the transmission breather bolt - this is the one that holds the
- earth strap to the gear box. It is supposed to have a hole bored down
- its center. If blocked the transmission seals will begin to leak
- faster, which will put extra oil down into the shaft housing, and
- if those seals are worn into the final drive and out holes.
