- Guys, guys, guys. It depends on the state (of the Union) you are in. In at
- least one that I know of (Va.) the issue of statutory rape involves the age
- of the male. If I remember correctly the underage female has to be at least
- two years younger than an underage male for the statutory rape charge to apply.
- I think it might even apply the other way around, but I'm not sure. i.e. you
- can charge a female with statutory rape of a male.
- This is pretty hazy in my memory because I read it in the newspaper sometime
- and it has been a while. I am very sure about the 2 year difference part.
