-
- My first suggestion would be to buy a new helmet, Mike - NOT because
- yours needs a bath, but because of the age - I've read a number of
- articles that recommend replacing a helmet every two to three years.
- Seems that the shock absorbing material (EPS?) starts compressing from
- day one - two or three years later you're looking at a lot less
- protection.
-
- If replacement isn't realistic, you might try a bucket of mild dish
- washing liquid, water, and a sponge. Try not to get it too wet and AVOID
- THE URGE TO USE A BLOW DRYER - let it air dry!!
