  14.     R.I.P: '82 Kawasaki KZ 305 CSR -- pronounced dead at the scene
  15.     on CA Highway 85 southbound.  the little kawi revved its heart
  16.     out to the end, but gave way to a fast loss of power and
  17.     increasing exhaust rattle, and finally quit in a cloud of noise
  18.     and smoke.  it lived for another hour, until the battery couldn't
  19.     take repeated attempts to start the sick motor.  later, it was
  20.     taken away by ERMAS (Eric Raible Motorcycle Ambulance Service)
  21.     and brought to its final resting place, Santa Clara Cycle Salvage,
  22.     where it will be junked and traded for $100 credit (or a helmet
  23.     if i can talk those cheap bastards into it).

  25.     the kawi is survived by a grieving, sentimental owner and an
  26.     overjoyed owner's boyfriend, who proposed on-the-spot burial.
  27.     however, it is believed that the little motorcycle really died
  28.     of heartbreak, since rumors are that the owner was shopping
  29.     for another motorcycle.

  31.     a brief memorial service will be held at the as-of-yet
  32.     unscheduled unveiling of the as-of-yet unpurchased NM.
  33.     please do not send flowers; contributions to the AMA
  34.     Motorcycle Museum would be appreciated instead.
