  12. Anybody out there have information regarding the lawsuit/court injunction
  13. against Tamiya.  I heard that Tamiya was planning on releasing their
  14. 1/35th scale armor to the US with pricetags no greater than $30, but a
  15. group of East Coast hobby shops (big ones) had a fit since they bought
  16. tons of the kits from MRC at inflated prices.  As a result, the hobby stores
  17. banded together to sue Tamiya for lost revenue and get a court injunction to
  18. prevent teh kits from coming to the US.
  19. I don't know about most of you modelers out there, but the pricing of kits
  20. now-a-days is getting to be a bit absurd.  I remember seeing a non-limited
  21. production kit going for roughly a buck a piece (and I don't mean a buck a
  22. kit.  I mean a dollar for each individual piece of the kit).  I'm a modeler,
  23. not the Sultan of some rich oil country.
