- Recently, I received my copy of Ian K. Baker's new book
- "Nippon's Army Air Force: Japanese Army Aircraft colours &
- Markings in the Pacific War... & Before".
-
- This new book follows the style of Ian'sfirst book about
- Japanese Navy Aircraft.
-
- The book includes information on J.A. designation system,
- colour standard, markings, etc. It also includes colour and
- hobby paints conversion tables and line drawings illustrating
- the camouflage styles of several aircraft used by the IJA.
-
- I am posting this just in case anyone is interested in getting
- a copy, but, please remmeber that these books are written,
- printed, bound and published by Ian himself as private
- editions. And, although they are very informative and the
- material presented is very well researched, they are not
- glossy pictures books.
-
- Interested people can contact Ian at the following address:
-
- Ian K. Baker
- 16 Immarna Rd.
- Camberwell VIC 3124
- Australia
-
- P.S. I do not try to do any advertisment on Ian's behalf on the
- network. But Ian's books are very popular among australian
- modelers and I think this information may be useful to other
- modelers outside Australia.
