- You may want to use rigid polyurethane foam instead of styrofoam. It
- looks the same, but it's impervious to most solvents, its stronger, and
- it doesn't melt when heated (though it gets soft).

- It's a little harder to find, though. Try art stores (it's used in
- sculpture). Some boating stores actually stock the resin. You can mold
- your own shapes. The resin may not yield a snow-white foam, but you're
- going to paint your model anyway.
