- At one point in history, several plastic model makers offered kits of
- various rockets. In fact, more than one offered kits that had models of
- all the major rockets of the day (Revel, as I recall, had one that had
- pretty much everything the U.S. was flying up to the mid '60s, Atlas,
- Delta, Thor, Vanguard, Jupiter, and so on).
-
- Can anyone point me in the directioon of a source of such things today. It
- would be nice not only to get a hold of current stuff (Titan, Delta, etc.)
- but the historical stuff as well. Note that I am NOT looking for flying
- models.
-
- I have a 9 year old who is deeply interested in space flight, and he is
- very interested in the history of the space program (theirs AND ours).
-
- Any help in preparing for Christmas would be most appreciated.
