- I would suggest, given the nature of the question and the purpose stated that
- there may be confusion here about whether an RS-232 standard interface is
- actually called for or whether the simulator in question uses a RS-232
- standard connector for connecting the control hardware. Use of the connector
- does not guarantee use of the RS-232 electrical standard and as indicated
- above, use of the electrical standard does not provide any information on
- how the digital information is actually formatted.
