- Since the MDC offering does not inerest you (it is a kit), you should
- consider spending a few hundreds dollars on a brass engine. I was in
- Miami, a couple of months ago, at Orange Blossom Hobbies (see add in
- MR) and they do carry an impressive choice of rare brass models. I saw
- many Shays, although I do not remember the prices exactly. You should
- expect something in the range $300-$500 unpainted.
- Give them a call. The models were gorgeous !
