  22. Since the MDC offering does not inerest you (it is a kit), you should 
  23. consider spending a few hundreds dollars on a brass engine. I was in 
  24. Miami, a couple of months ago, at Orange Blossom Hobbies (see add in 
  25. MR) and they do carry an impressive choice of rare brass models. I saw 
  26. many Shays, although I do not remember the prices exactly. You should 
  27. expect something in the range $300-$500 unpainted.
