- If I'm correctly informed, the two systems are not really compatible,
- since Marklin use AC for their engines whereas Trix run on DC. They
- both use 3-rail tracks, however. When it comes to quality, Trix is just
- as good as -- or even better than -- any other German make. (Excellent,
- that is.) It is also worth mentioning that Trix also produce a lot of
- 2-rail models.
