- find this interesting.

- About three months ago I ran across a switch-machine in my local hobby shop
- that used "Shape Memory Wire" to control a model railroad turnout. The device
- was made by EJA Microsystems of Thousand Oaks, CA. They advertise the machine
- for use in HO and N scales. I assume the short throw of the memory wire would
- limit its use in larger scales. The instructions that come with it cover one
- side of an 11 by 14 inch sheet of paper. If anyone wants more info, please
