- One thing to remember is that if ou wear sneakers, the laces and the knot
- can push into the top of your foot.

- As for damage to the shin, before trying a shin roundhouse, you've got to
- condition the shin. Proper conditioning will make the shin very strong and
- allow it to take a lot of punishment. Muay Thai fighters are probably the
- most famous example of this idea. When you kick the target, lead with the
- bone and dig into the tissue when you strike. I usually use this kick to
- the outer thigh of my opponent.
