- There was a very good article about head butting in John Cheetham's
- Shotokan Magazine (number xx) by Steve Hyland, who has worked in
- "security" for about 15 years and really knows how to use this technique.
- He demonstrated it to me but butting me in the chest (one of his favourite
- tricks!) and it dropped me! He uses his neck shoulders and chest at
- great speed and power.

- Warning - smashing your head against anything hard is a sure way to
- say goodbye to a good number of brain cells! Don't do it, unless you
- really have to.

- (True story...)
- I remember a clip on TV about 10 years ago where a girl was going to
- break a paving stone with her head! The presenter was not convinced that
- it was a good idea, but asked her to go ahead anyway... She smashed her
- head against the slab, it remained intact. her head stayed against the
- slab, shaking slightly as she controlled the pain. Slowly she sat upright,
- a huge bruise and lump appearing on her head, insisting that she was
- alright and that she could still do it! The presenter tried to stop her
- but she couldn't give in, not with all of those millions of people watching.
- She prepared again and with an almighty thump smashed her head against
- the impassive stone. Her head trembled again as the stone refused to
- budge. She sat up again clearly in a great deal of pain and now looking
- somewhat like a unicorn! The presenter quickly cut to the weather man!

- Moral of the story - Don't be bloody stupid!
