- It seems to me that base 1 is NOT possible.
- All the examples of "base 1" I have seen here involve TWO characters
- usually the "1" and the " " or SPACE
- If you really want to stick with 1 character you must do this:
- 1111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111
- for ever and ever till you get bad overflow, but can't tell because
- it always looks like that.
-
- hee hee
-
- or: if you take for the definition of base one the ratio between the columns
- has to be one, then you can use two characters, but are still stuck with:
-
- 1111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111 (all)
- or
- (nothing)
-
- please correct me.
-
- OBJOKE:
- Two <insert you favourite minority here> men were standing outside a
- <insert local drinking house name> when they noticed a helicopter had been
- hoveriung overhead for quite some time.
- "hmmm. Whats up?" said one.
- "Dunno," said the other, "perhaps its broken down."
