  13. I was at the Reno Gun Show this weekend, and the semi-auto stuff was selling
  14. very fast. SKS's were going from $115 to $400 (a pre-ban one that took
  15. detachable magazines). One dealer I spoke with about noon on Sat (the show 
  16. opened on Friday) had brought 25 with him, he had 5 left. 7.62X39 ammo seemd 
  17. to be selling briskly, at $3 box, around $150-165 per case. AR's were 
  18. priced from $600 and went up. 
  19. Someone from Colorado had an interesting SKS - pistol size, it had a molded
  20. stock with a pistol grip in the rear, and a thing for holding onto in the
  21. front. The whole package was maybe 16 inches long. I think this firm made
  22. molded stocks.

  24. There were some really beautiful guns on display, a few of the old double
  25. rifles, some Winchesters that were priced over $10k, and a lot of pre-64
  26. Winchesters. I spent most of my time looking at model 12 Winchesters, as
  27. thats what I like...and there were some fantastic ones. Something to watch
  28. for, make sure the receiver S/N matches the barrel S/N. I saw a few that
  29. didn't match. It's strange, the rigs don't line up exactly on those either.
