  13. Re: flashlights and guns, I prefer not to have a weapon mounted
  14. flashlight. My reasoning is that I'll be holding the weapon so
  15. I can use the sights. That means anyone shooting at the light
  16. is shooting at me, more specifically my head. Not good. I prefer
  17. a strong light held well away to one side from the body. A necessity
  18. is a momentary switch that's easy to manipulate even with gloves.
  19. Helpful would be a thumb focus arrangement that would let me 
  20. change from spot to flood with a flick of the thumb. Right now
  21. I'm using an armored flashlight that only says, "Property of Bell
  22. System." (Don't ask) Anyone who knows of a commercial source for
  23. such flashlights, please post.
