- Re: flashlights and guns, I prefer not to have a weapon mounted
- flashlight. My reasoning is that I'll be holding the weapon so
- I can use the sights. That means anyone shooting at the light
- is shooting at me, more specifically my head. Not good. I prefer
- a strong light held well away to one side from the body. A necessity
- is a momentary switch that's easy to manipulate even with gloves.
- Helpful would be a thumb focus arrangement that would let me
- change from spot to flood with a flick of the thumb. Right now
- I'm using an armored flashlight that only says, "Property of Bell
- System." (Don't ask) Anyone who knows of a commercial source for
- such flashlights, please post.
