  13.     This is a followup to an article I posted about a month ago.
  14.     I posted asking about j&g sales (they advertise in SGN).
  15.     I got response from three people.
  16.     Basically the only bad thing anyone had to say about them
  17.     was that he had ordered ammo from j&g and
  18.     some of it was reloads and
  19.     that one box of it had tin cases and
  20.     he had cracking problems with a few of these tin cases;
  21.     the ad didn't say it wasn't reloads, but it didn't say it was either.

  23.     I went ahead and order:
  24.         a ``Bausch and Lomb family'' (sp?) spotting scope and
  25.         a case (1440) of 7.62x39.
  26.     I mailed my order (using a money order for payment)
  27.     on a Tuesday afternoon, UPS delivered on the next Friday;
  28.     fairly fast, though slower than the sales person indicated.
  29.     I haven't had a chance to try either item out yet.
  30.     The ammo looks fine (old Chinese surplus).
  31.     The scope looks fine, but is a Jason, not a B&L;
  32.     maybe somehow their phrasing justifies this
  33.     (is Jason somehow related to B&L?),
  34.     but I thought it was misleading in any event.
