- Burglary is the crime of breaking into and entering a building with the
- intention of stealing. Robbery is the unlawful taking of property by the
- use of violence or intimidation. If there is no breaking or entering or
- violence or intimidation then we are talking about simple theft. If they
- break into your house and steal from you using violence or intimidation,
- then it looks to me like they are guilty of burglary and robbery and
- maybe assault also. If they break into your house for the purpose of
- commiting another crime, then that is breaking & entering plus whatever
- other crimes they commit.
