- We used to shoot at a variety of things, back when you could do that kind
- of thing around LA County. One of the funny incidents was when we took a
- empty freon tank (about the size of a BBQ propane tank). We set it up on
- the hill like all the other targets but everyone was most disappointed,
- regardless of what we shot it with the bullets just passed through. I
- borrowed my wifes autoloader 12 ga and loaded it with 3 slugs. Then with
- my best bravado I stated "y'all don't know how it's done", and proceeded
- to fire 3 shots from the hip. The first spun the tank like a top, the second
- made it jump about 8 feet into the air and with the third it disappeared
- over the back of the hill! I didn't say a word (didn't have to :-).
