- Along this line of thought. Here in the PNW we usually have at least
- one good storm around xmas. My wife and I go out after the storm and
- collect downed branches from the fir trees. We clean, trim, and
- attach them to a piece of lattice and ta-da... instant, inexpensive,
- guilt-free, good smelling, xmas tree. The only draw back is that
- it can dry-out faster than a real tree. So be careful if you try it.
