- This sounds weird but I thought it was kind of a neat idea when I
- heard it last year (probably on the net :) ). Apparently there are
- places where you can *rent* a live tree (don't know what sizes are
- available), and then after xmas they take the tree back and refund
- the deposit portion of your money, and they plant the tree or otherwise
- do something more ecologically nice with it. I think I'm going to look
- into it this year...
