-
- Even with some people posting about somebody who's developing Duo software and
- is actually using the adaptor with a TG-CD, I suspect that TTI will
- intentionally NOT release a version that works with the TG-CD or at least not
- advertise it. The reason is that I think TTI sees the Duo as their future and
- they want to rid themselves of the TG-16. Having only one system would reduce
- their production costs dramatically. I think you can expect to see the TG-16
- discontinued, eventually (this is definitely NOT fact, folks, just a
- speculation on my part -- I do NOT have inside information or anything like
- that!) This would also explain the change to Japanese type controllers that
- come with the Duo (only one set of accessories to manufacture.)
-
- Speaking of which, has anyone seen a genuine "Duo-Tap" or "Duo-Pad" for sale?
- I'd like to get the tap and an extra controller, but if I use existing "Turbo"
- stuff in conjunction with the "Duo adaptors", I'll need two of the adapters
- (one for the Turbo-Tap to Duo system, one for the Duo-Pad to Turbo-Tap). I
- can't find true "Duo" accessories in stores yet. Is this because TTI hasn't
- shipped yet, or are stores hesitant to stock up on them?
