  30. Pennsylvania. :-)  The pronoun was you and the message was directed
  31. toward me is I made a concenptual leap, which I'm sure you'll all agree
  32. is pretty hard for me to do, and thought the pronoun meant me.  If it
  33. was meant to be a general comment on life then I apologize.

  48. Abusive?  I said condescending.  To be condescending one does not
  49. necessarily have to use profanity or be abusive.  The begining of your
  50. letter was pleasant it was the ending that I resented (see below).

  57. guy", the mail message to save me from taking a lot of crap; as if I
  58. didn't know that I was going to get crap from the beginning?  The
  59. history of r.g.n is people giving other people alot of crap.  So you
  60. were magnanimois enough to send me your kind, sweet, message to save me
  61. from the from the horrors of the rath of r.g.n.  This is what I meant
  62. by condescending.  And because I didn't follow your advice you get
  63. angry with me.

  65. The intent behind posting the RFD, in and of itself, wasn't wrong.  I
  66. thought it was the way to get a discussion rolling (and boy did it ever
  67. get rolling!).  I acknowlege that the overwhelming majority of the
  68. discussion was against the split but that's not the point.  I never
  69. said that I would be the sole moderator.  I only put myself in as a
  70. placeholder.  How was I supposed to ask if anyone wanted to be a
  71. moderator if I was told not to discuss it until I posted an RFD?
  72. Finally, I even asked for others and even said that the more the
  73. better.  So what actions are left except that I didn't do things the
  74. way you wanted me to do?
