  10. During a recent game, my character Sermil 'became a new man'. When asked for
  11. a new name, I didn't have any wonderful ideas, so I typed 'Sermil-ish', and
  12. then later saved. Now, how do I get back into the game? 
  13. "nethack -u Sermil-ish" says "unknown role I" and gives the start-up screen.
  14. Ditto on setting name in $NETHACKOPTIONS, or even $USER. This is a
  15. multi-user system, so I can't rename the data file, either. 
  16. I didn't see this in the FAQ. Any hints?
