  20. What you will be able to write is dependant on two things; what
  21. scrolls you have already identified (use '\' to find that out), and
  22. how many charges the magic marker has.  You won't be able to write a
  23. scroll you haven't identified (Calling one works as well as id'ing
  24. it).  Nor will you be able to write a scroll that drains the m.m. of
  25. more charges than it has.  There is a table about somewhere listing
  26. the charges that each scroll requires; costs range between 4-30
  27. charges and are *not* totally fixed.  Also, a blessed magic marker
  28. always writes blessed scrolls, unless the scroll of blank paper is
  29. cursed, in which case the scroll created will be uncursed.

  31. The first scroll I would write is a blessed scroll of charging, for
  32. recharging the m.m. when it runs low on charges.  After that, it
  33. really depends on what you have and what you need.  I like to identify
  34. *everything*, so I usually write lots of blessed scrolls of identify.
  35. If you have say a +0 helm of brilliance or +0 gloves of dexterity, you
  36. might want to write a few scrolls of enchant armor.
