- Me neither. *wink*

- But seriously, I don't think I've ever met a Diplomacy player who _wouldn't_
- stab his/her prime ally if given the right circumstances. Granted, there are
- alliances that are or aren't important to varying degrees, so those
- circumstances also vary. Personally, I like to have one ally I'm extremely
- loyal to for the vast majority of the game, to the extent that I need to stab
- them for the win (i.e. I and my ally are the only two _major_ (4+ SCs) powers
- left on the board). Thus, most of the time I do not stab and am scrupulously
- honest -- which makes the final stab, if necessitated, all that much more of a
- surprise.
-
- So that's the long way to answer your question. The short way? THAT'S THE GAME.
- JUST ABOUT EVERYONE DOES. Want a percent? I'll venture that only about 1%-2% of
- experienced players, if that, _never_ stab, and even less never _consider_
- stabbing.
