- At what game, poker? Seriously, 1C shows WHAT? And a preempt on the NORTH
- hand (white vs red, no less)? Actually, against this unwieldy EW bidding
- system, I can see where it would pay to preempt on just about anything. On
- the auction above, the preempt has East taking a preference from a 6-2 fit
- into a 3-4 fit.

- 4C is outrageous. North has fewer Clubs and more Spades than he rates to
- have for his "preempt". The decision was good.
