- In this instance, 2S is a weak bid. With a good suit and a few points partner
- would have doubled 1NT. The double indicates that you have a high honor in
- spades, and also some heart values, and that you can defeat the contract on
- your own. Since without the double partner will tend to lead a club, I think
- that the double should indicate a spade lead.
