- You seem to not be asking about South's bid here, but I will go ahead
- and offer my opinion that South should just blast to 7NT.

- Since North made a 2D bid vulnerable second seat he
- really should have at least KQTxxx in the suit. At worst South
- cashes his winners, counts out the East hand, and makes his decision
- on how to play the diamonds.

- I thought about whether South could use 5NT as the Grand Slam Force
- in diamonds, but I now believe that there is too much danger of a
- misunderstanding (such as partner passing) to risk trying this.
