  33. Computer?  Posh!  Anyone who's ever sneezed on Jacobs knows that he'd
  34. never resort to a computer for such important research.  No sirree, uh uh.
  35. Steve's above all that.

  37. He once described his method (and his madness) to me, and I'll see if I
  38. can remember most of it.

  40. Because cards are dealt randomly (unless, of course, you're playing blackjack
  41. at the Frontier), Steve started by using a random multiplying factor determined
  42. by the number of nice things he's said about Michael Hall on rec.gambling in
  43. any particular 6-month period.  This would give him a number between 0 and 1.

  45. Now, if the row to be calculated is for a hand that contains a pair, Steve
  46. will use the bra size of the last Hot Babe (TM) that he let blow on his
  47. dice at a craps table.  He'll then multiply this by the number of times he
  48. was slapped trying to obtain said bra size.

  50. If the two cards of the hand are suited, Steve uses the number of times
  51. that Tim (you still out there, Tim?) threatened to have his uncle sue Steve, 
  52. multiplied by the number of kilobytes spewed forth in some of their better
  53. flamefests.

  55. The numbers for connectors are determined by the day's attendance at the
  56. Foxwoods Casino in CONNECTicut (hey!  give me a break, it's Friday).

  58. All other numbers are determined at random, because I'm running out of ideas
  59. and my brain hurts.
