  24. I have a better story.  Two summers ago, my wife and I go to Las Vegas
  25. for the second time, to meet some friends that have been there a lot.
  26. They get us a room at the Trop at the casino rate as part of a
  27. promotional deal.  We arrive early and check in, and while waiting for my
  28. friends, she decides to take a nap (she was on call the night before and
  29. didn't sleep) and I decide to try my hand at some Blackjack.  I go
  30. downstairs and find a spot next to third base, and am doing O.K. for a
  31. while when the guy next to me gets two red fives, flips them over, and
  32. doubles down.  The dealer points to the jackpot sign over out head and
  33. asks if he wouldn't rather go for the 4 red 5 jackpot.  He calmly looks at 
  34. her and says: (drumroll) 
  35.             "But this is a single deck game!"
