  32. YEA!!!  I was hoping I wasn't the only one out here who has a cabbagy thing
  33. with Thanksgiving...in a lovely blend of old/new world (my family is "just
  34. off the boat" of course, the boat was a plane!)  anyway, we have

  36.         Turkey with French bread/celery/onion/sage/rice stuffing

  38.         Mashed potatoes: any attempts to do away with these are voted
  39.                 vocally down, though *I* would like oven roasted instead.

  41.         Cranberry orange relish from the back of the Oceanspray cran-
  42.                 berry bag

  44.         Giblet gravy

  46.         Yams, with molasses, sans marshmallows

  48.         AND:  German ROTKOHL with caraway seeds, braised.  This stuff
  49.                 always makes my day, so tart and sweet. Homemade, of

  52.         and the other usual things:  baby dill rolls, that I make in
  53.                 my baby muffin pan; wine; water;

  55.                 pecan pie, Marzipan torte, coffee

  57.         BUT we eat late, around 7 or 8 (most have a big late afternoon
  58.         affair.)
