- Here are a few tips when making french fries:

- 1. Use older potatoes
- 2. Soak potatoes in water and thouroughly dry before frying
- 3. Fry the potatoes at a lower temperature to cook them inside
- and finish them at a higher temperature to give them a crispy
- outside.
