  12. Well, yesterday I bought a new filly. I have been wanting to get a young filly
  13. to train for quite some time. I have always dreamed of having a true "bridle"
  14. horse, one of the incredibly light, finely trained reined cowhorses. Well, I
  15. think I have found my prospect. This filly is a long yearling, Bay with a 
  16. blaze, AQHA. Her sire is Smart Cash Cutter by Smart Little Lena. Smart Little
  17. Lena is the leading sire of cutting and working cowhorses these days. He is by
  18. Doc O'Lena by Doc Bar, with Peppy San on the bottom side. Smart Cash Cutter was
  19. trained and ridden by Bobby Ingersoll, but I haven't gotten a copy of his show
  20. record yet. I do know that he was syndicated for a bunch, and stands at Cal
  21. Poly, San Luis Obispo. Her dam is Gaurd's Leo Lita, by On Gaurd By Coldstream
  22. Gaurd, she is Leo bred on the bottom side. This mare was trained and shown by
  23. Bobby Ingersoll for 3 years, and placed 2nd at the Cow palace in the Working
  24. Cowhorse class.

  26. I will probably have the trainer I ride with start this filly, cuz I really
  27. don't want to mess her up. I believe that she is Reno Snaffle Bit Futurity
  28. quality, so I'm going to be real careful with this one. The gal that I bought
  29. her from is also throwing in a breeding for my mare to her Doc Bar grandson.
  30. Looks like I'm going to have horses coming out of my ears if I'm not careful.
