  12. Hi!  I've been reading this group for awhile and wonder if I may tap some of
  13. the vast knowledge out there...
  14. I have a wonderful Morgan Gelding...he's 8 years old, he is wonderful on
  15. trails and with the kids...he is (what my instructor calls) gaited...
  16. I have been taking English/Dressage lessons for about 2 years now and would
  17. like to do some shows...my question is...
  18.   Can my gaited Morgan be retrained at 8 years old to do a diagonal trot? Is
  19. it worth the work he will have to do to learn something he was previously
  20. possibly bred and trained to do?  Is it worth the money I must spend to have
  21. a trainer work with him...with the odds against her?
  22.   Any knowledge or enlightenment would be greatly appreciated...we really
  23. love this horse the way he is...but it would be nice to be able to show as
  24. well.
