  13.     Boy, women are really taking a beating in QL with these two
  14. episodes.  We are pictured as evil, shrew-like witches.  The only
  15. positive images are those of daughter or servant or 1950's style
  16. wife.  This is the old 'woman as downfall of man' Judeo/Christian
  17. stereotype that I thought we had thrown off a long time ago.  Now
  18. I see that we still have a lot of fighting to do.  I as a 35 year
  19. old woman found myself fighting feelings of helplessness and hopelessness
  20. about just being a woman!  Think how a young girl growing up watching
  21. these episodes would feel.  It is no wonder to me that women do not
  22. achieve as much as men do when there is these kinds of negative images
  23. of women pervading our subconsciousness.  I expected better from Quantum 
  24. Leap, I know they can do better!
