- This is a great idea!
-
- My dream project was a beautiful Irish fisherman knit afghan for
- big enough for a double bed. The original pattern came from a
- Mary Maxim kit and I adjusted it for my daughter. It turned out
- to be a very time consuming project using a circular need (which
- I love to use) in Mary Maxim's Irish knit yarn. (BTW the yarn
- now comes in various colors and it is a joy to work with.) Anyway,
- I decided once it was finished to enter it in the Cuyahoga County
- Fair (Ohio) and it won first prize in its division. This was
- my very first entry in a fair. I was the happiest woman around
- for days. I then made a second for my best friend's daughter who
- was getting married with some variations. It was the hit of the
- shower. Now I'm working on another for my son in a gray green but
- an entirely different pattern but still an fishman knit.
-
- After this I'm going to attempt a Fair Isle vest for my husband
- and a Bavarian sweater for myself.
-
- Let's hear about some more projects.
