  13. This is a great idea!

  15. My dream project was a beautiful Irish fisherman knit afghan for
  16. big enough for a double bed.  The original pattern came from a
  17. Mary Maxim kit and I adjusted it for my daughter.  It turned out
  18. to be a very time consuming project using a circular need (which
  19. I love to use) in Mary Maxim's Irish knit yarn.  (BTW the yarn
  20. now comes in various colors and it is a joy to work with.)  Anyway,
  21. I decided once it was finished to enter it in the Cuyahoga County
  22. Fair (Ohio) and it won first prize in its division.  This was
  23. my very first entry in a fair.  I was the happiest woman around
  24. for days.  I then made a second for my best friend's daughter who
  25. was getting married with some variations.  It was the hit of the
  26. shower.  Now I'm working on another for my son in a gray green but
  27. an entirely different pattern but still an fishman knit.

  29. After this I'm going to attempt a Fair Isle vest for my husband
  30. and a Bavarian sweater for myself.
