- I often find that after a session on my local climbing
- wall I get a pain behind each shin. I believe this is
- known as "shin splints"?
-
- It seems to occur mainly when I do a lot of delicate footwork
- which stretches and contracts calf muscles.
-
- Does any one know what the cause of this is and any warm up
- exercise to prevent it?
-
- While on the subject of climbing injuries, does any one know the
- long term effect on fingers of climbing? The way my knucles feel
- after climbing I`m sure I can`t be doing them much good!
-
- Dave.
